Who We Are:
Festival League began in 2002 when a group of eager filmmakers, musicians and artists decided to create multi-media events to showcase and promote work which transcends the typical Hollywood production$, the radio hits and the high-priced art market. We constantly searched for work which brought audiences something fresh and alive - works of art.

For two years, Festival League produced WellFair, free monthly events where hundreds of people gathered to witness the uprising of independent artists. Festival League then decided to focus on large-scale annual events: Atlanta Underground Film Festival and Animation Attack! Atlanta Horror Film Fest, DocuFest Atlanta, (Atlanta International Documentary Festival) 

In 2007, Festival League created an annual film festival in Costa Rica. The Costa Rica International Film Festival Montezuma is held every year in November, and has proven to be one of the largest events Festival League produces.

Currently Festival League is planning the annual Independent Film Month Atlanta, where hundreds of films and related events are held during the entire month of September 2011.

In the Spring of 2011, Festival League will also present the First Annual Puerto Rico International Film Festival - Vieques Island.

As of today, Festival League has produced over 50 multi-media events. The group has grown into an unrelenting organization of talented filmmakers,  musicians and artists who work year-round to bring you the best in the independent arts in the U.S. and abroad.

So, who is Festival League? Festival League is YOU, and all the thousands of filmmakers, artists and musicans who have showcased their work at one or more of our events!
