What do you do when you’ve just made the best Halloween costume ever? You make an even better one next year.
Bud Hasert is a self-proclaimed “normal guy”, who has spent the past 20 years celebrating the big night on 6th Street. For Bud, Halloween lasts all year as he dreams, designs, plans, then spends months constructing the perfect costume. Think over-scale designs. Motorized and ambulatory parts. And latex. A lot of latex. This guy is good.
HALLOWEEN ON 6th STREET follows Bud’s progress from concept through creation as he attempts to complete his most ambitious costume ever, all while trying to balance work, life, budget … and his wedding in November.
As the clock is ticking for Bud, the city prepares for the wildest night of the year in this music-driven documentary that celebrates the people in Austin who love Halloween.
