In a post Zombie holocaust world, a man laments his empty lifestyle and questions the futility of working in a corporate wasteland. Captain Old's Adventures in Mumbleland Fran Krause - NYC, US - 4 min. The Captain can't seem to find his connecting bus and gets sidetracked. Fran Krause's junior-year film from the Rhode Island School of design in 1998. It was animated on paper and shot with High-Con 16mm film and has only been screened about three times in the past nine years. El Viaje de Said (Said's Journey) Coke Rioboo - Spain - 12 min. Said, a Moroccan boy, crosses the straits to the land of opportunity, but soon discovers the world is not as beautiful as they told him it would be. Golden Age Aaron Augenblick - NYC, US - 20 min. A beautiful, animated documentary that chronicles the private lives of characters from throughout animated history, spanning from the very early days up to more recent times. Augenblick showcases an astonishingly wide range of styles in this humorous series of films. Karaoke Show Karl Tebbe - Germany - 4 min. A mix between sauna and disco through the magic of stop-motion. Kings of Power 4 Billion % Paul Robertson - Australia - 12 min. Supreme warriors find adventure in Paul Robertson's epic pixelart masterpiece. Moonraker Fran Krause - NYC, US - 3 min. An explorer stranded on a lonely planet sends messages home. An independent animation made with Flash in 2004 which played at the Ottawa Animation Festival, the Annecy Animation Festival, and won a prize for writing from ASIFA East. Red Princess Blues Animated Dan Cregan - FL, US - 7 min. A little girl finds herself in a strange country looking for her father. After she discovers the "Book of Violence," she slowly begins a journey which will soon lead to vengeance. Transrexia Aurelio Voltaire - NY, US - 1 min. In this ultra-short prehistoric postcard, a T-Rex contemplates the nature of love and loss.
